Crown Hotels Melbourne Guest Safety

Crown Melbourne’s priority remains keeping our guests, our employees and the community safe.

A COVIDSafe Plan is in place to support a safe property for our guests and maintain a COVID Safe workplace for our employees.

Following the Victorian government's announcement on the further easing of restrictions, from 7am Friday 19 November, Crown Melbourne will be making a number of changes across the complex.

The following restrictions will be removed from operation:

  • Casino and restaurant capacity limits will be removed
  • Bars will return to normal operation
  • Masks for our guests will not be mandatory and only recommended when social distancing cannot be maintained with the exception for retail stores where the mandatory requirement remains
  • Restriction on the number of players at table games will be removed and all gaming machines will return to operation

 

COVID Safe measures

Keeping our community safe is all of our responsibility and we all have a part to play. Crown Melbourne will operate with the following COVID Safe measures in place:

  • Mandatory check in measures in operation – Crown operates a No Tick, No Entry policy. You must check in via the Service Victoria app using the QR code at entry points into the Resort
  • Crown's COVID-19 vaccination policy as detailed below
  • Enhanced hygiene and cleaning protocols across the resort

We remind guests that if they are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms, even if mild, to refrain from visiting us until they are fully recovered.

 

Proof of Vaccination

The Victorian Government has indicated that guests over the age of 12 and 2 months wishing to visit any hospitality venue and staff working at these hospitality venues will need to be fully vaccinated.

Crown Melbourne will request official proof of vaccination or medical contraindication certificate from each of these visitors upon arrival to the complex. Entry may be denied if official proof of vaccination or a medical contraindication certificate cannot be presented. Please see below the proof of vaccination evidence we accept:

  • COVID-19 Digital Certificate via the Services Victoria App
  • COVID-19 Digital Certificate saved to smartphone
  • Printed Copy of COVID-19 Digital Certificate with Photo ID
  • Printed Copy of Immunisation History Statement with Photo ID
  • Australian Immunisation Registry (AIR) – Immunisation Medical Exemption Form (IM011) with Photo ID
